The other day I heard a very powerful message on an Christian station, it was a message about children and how it is our responsibility to set the right example for them. One important quote stood out to me he said "You cannot impose what you do not possess".
How can we impose any morals and values in our children that we ourselves do not follow, we have to realize as parents that yes our children hear us, but they also watch our actions. All children are rebellious at some point but however if we do impose what we possess on them it is more than likely they will listen to what has been taught to them, but not just taught but also shown to them in our actions. Everyday I think we as parents need to look at ourselves to make sure everything we say to our children can also be shown through how we conduct ourselves in society. Do we actually listen to what they have to say or do we talk over them? Today is a different day and time and some of the older methods of raising children has since long gone, children were always taught to do as they were told, but today children are much wiser, and in a sense weaker, given the technology age giving them so much access to things that we did not have as children ourselves. So let us all learn how to live, learn, and pay attention no one is perfect but there is nothing wrong with striving for perfection and teaching our children to also do the same.

Shaking my head: It's time for a change
I know most our tired of hearing about this but I just had to say it. Know your worth ladies and the decisions we make not only affect us but the ones we love. People say wisdom comes with age but I beg to differ comes from the mindset. We all should grow as we age but when you don't make the necessary changes in your life to grow we often continue down the same path of destruction. Time to wise up and wake up so much of social media displays the negative what happened to positive outlooks. The video down below is what some of our young people need to see we don't need anymore future middle-aged porn stars. I'm not judging just stating fact.

Beauty Within
I'm more than just a pretty face, and slim waste.
I'm sweet and kind, someone worth having for a life time.
While my outer beauty may one day fade,
My inner beauty will always remain the same.
I love hard and unconditionally,
And I believe any man would be lucky to have me
Will everyman I run across appreciate me
I know that is an no, most will only notice me physically
But the right one, will look deeper, and want more
Something that an outer beauty can not provide
And that's a love that will last a lifetime.

Reesie Krispies
Reeses Krispies
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Corn Syrup
1 1/3 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
4 1/4 Cup Rice Krispes
1 Pinch of Salt
4 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, chopped
1 Handful Chocolate Chips
In a large sauce pan over medium heat, melt the sugar, corn syrup, and peanut butter until smooth and evenly combined.
Remove from heat.
Quickly add the salt and cereal and stir to combine thoroughly. Add the chocolate chips and stir again. Wait about 1 min and add the candy, quickly folding the mixture together so as to not smash up the candy.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop rounded tablespoons onto the sheet. Let cool and enjoy!

Tried this recipe that I found in my news feed on face book
Reese’s Krispies there I guess what you would call the chocolaty peanut butter
version of rice krispies. Fairly good lots of chocolate and peanut butter for
all you chocolate lovers out there.
While good they can leave your mouth a little dry a glass of milk will
surely come in handy while indulging in this tasty treat. I do advise to go by ingredient measurements
added a little chocolate and peanut butter than I should have and trust me I definitely
suffered later.

Intro: Simply Me
Hello all my name is Puroney Dotson I'm 30 year old single mother of 3, I will admit I'm pretty boring but I love to try new things. From a little child I have always been curious, at times it could prove to be useful, but most of the time it just got me in trouble. I remember when I was 13 and my mother had to work and I though I would be helpful by trying to cook dinner, hey I had seen my mother do it plenty of times. So my dinner for the evening was going to be chicken macaroni and cheese and string beans, well needless to say the only thing that turned out right was the string beans. I tried frying the chicken with baking soda, since we had ran out of flour, and the macaroni was still slightly hard. Well needless to say we ordered pizza that evening and my mother praised me for my efforts while my sister laughed continously. Trying new things hasn't changed much since then, sometimes I wish somethings I had stuck with instead of allowing my failed attempt to cause me to run, after the chicken scare I didn't try cooking again until a year later, but thats me. But thats just a little part of me I have other blogs here as well I will post url later peace, love and soul, yeah I'm 30 but I have an old corny spirit.
