Reesie Krispies

Reeses Krispies

1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Corn Syrup

1 1/3 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
4 1/4 Cup Rice Krispes
1 Pinch of Salt
4 Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, chopped
1 Handful Chocolate Chips

In a large sauce pan over medium heat, melt the sugar, corn syrup, and peanut butter until smooth and evenly combined.
Remove from heat.
Quickly add the salt and cereal and stir to combine thoroughly. Add the chocolate chips and stir again. Wait about 1 min and add the candy, quickly folding the mixture together so as to not smash up the candy.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop rounded tablespoons onto the sheet. Let cool and enjoy!

Tried this recipe that I found in my news feed on face book Reese’s Krispies there I guess what you would call the chocolaty peanut butter version of rice krispies.  Fairly good lots of chocolate and peanut butter for all you chocolate lovers out there.  While good they can leave your mouth a little dry a glass of milk will surely come in handy while indulging in this tasty treat.  I do advise to go by ingredient measurements added a little chocolate and peanut butter than I should have and trust me I definitely suffered later.

Intro: Simply Me

Hello all my name is Puroney Dotson I'm 30 year old single mother of 3, I will admit I'm pretty boring but I love to try new things. From a little child I have always been curious, at times it could prove to be useful, but most of the time it just got me in trouble.  I remember when I was 13 and my mother had to work and I though I would be helpful by trying to cook dinner, hey I had seen my mother do it plenty of times. So my dinner for the evening was going to be chicken macaroni and cheese and string beans, well needless to say the only thing that turned out right was the string beans.  I tried frying the chicken with baking soda, since we had ran out of flour, and the macaroni was still slightly hard.  Well needless to say we ordered pizza that evening and my mother praised me for my efforts while my sister laughed continously.  Trying new things hasn't changed much since then, sometimes I wish somethings I had stuck with instead of allowing my failed attempt to cause me to run, after the chicken scare I didn't try cooking again until a year later, but thats me.  But thats just a little part of me I have other blogs here as well I will post url later peace, love and soul, yeah I'm 30 but I have an old corny spirit.
